  • Royal's Funeral, April 1, 2011 / The funeral series

Submitted by William on Fri, 04/01/2011 - 8:14pm

I hope Royal wasn't playing an April Fools' joke on us. But we had a funeral for him because he wasn't. It was a toilet funeral. We flushed him down the toilet and I sent him a kiss in heaven. All of us sent him a kiss into the toilet. Eliana was really sad that he died. Eliana thought, "Maybe a storm trooper killed him." I think he was too old and then he died. He was 3, 2 or 2 1/2. I got him when I turned 4 and he died on April Fools Day. I might bury his fish rocks. And I wanted to keep him in a jar. And I holded him for a little bit to see if he would flop around, but he didn't. So he was really dead. The end.

The new blog in the funeral series that we haven't made yet is Hero's funeral. So far we have Royal's Funeral, A Sad Farewell (Belle's funeral), and Bye Bye Tasia (Tasia's funeral). A Sad Farewell is about Belle dying and us burying her and marking it with a cross that says, "I hope my dog is safe in heaven. Signed, William." Bye Bye Tasia is about me saying "bye bye" to Tasia, our cat, and my dad taking him to the vet. See you next time to see the next funeral in the funeral series, Hero's funeral.

I hope a storm trooper didn't kill Royal. You'll have much bigger problems on your hands if that's the case! Sorry to hear about your fish, William.

  • I finally lost a tooth!

Submitted by William on Sun, 02/20/2011 - 2:40pm

    He finally lost a tooth!

"Yay! Hooray! I finally lost a tooth!" I took a bite of an apple. My tooth did not fall out. I took a few more bites. And POP my tooth fell out! At first I thought it was an apple piece. And then I noticed it was white and I noticed that it was my tooth! Om-nom-nom! I was just gnawing through that apple. After my tooth fell out I had a few more bites, but I was full. And that night, I found a dollar under my pillow. It had a tiny, tiny 'P' on it. Mom did not know what it was. I held it up to the light and I saw that it was a 'P' and I knew what it stood for. Since the dollar was silver, I knew it was from a different state. It was from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was from the tooth fairy! I looked in my tooth container. Nothing was in there! The tooth fairy turned it into money... or did it take the tooth and leave the money? I showed Mom the "I finally lost a tooth dance." You'll see a video of it on this blog. I showed Dad the "I finally lost a tooth dance," too. The end. That's a true story.

  • Episode 30: Buster the Watchdog/Episode 36: Buster the Watchdog

Submitted by William on Sun, 02/06/2011 - 8:03pm

In episode 30 of Buster the Watchdog, Buster the Watchdog takes off and he lands smack on a giant ABC123 caterpillar. And then he puts more gas in his house and he takes off and the caterpillar runs away! When he was flying in his house, he was trying to get to his grandma's house but he accidentally ran out of gas before he got there. Then he got more gas and he got to his grandma's house/

A little bit about Buster the Watchdog:
Buster the Watchdog lives in the future where there is flying houses and fishies bouncing on trampolines underwater or playing card games shooting dice. And Buster the Watchdog, as you can tell, he is a dog. He has a flying house and he puts only a tiny bit of gas in it. So whenever he takes off, he flies for a little bit and lands.

In episode 36 of Buster the Watchdog, I put on an orange headband and stick a blue comb through it. I yank the comb out and the headband goes over my eyes and I say, "AHHHH!"

Buster the Watchdog is a tv show that I'm going to make when I grow up.
One problem, I do not know how to make a movie. Or a cartoon.

  • Mall of America

Submitted by William on Sun, 01/16/2011 - 12:27am

Thank you Grandpa Lanz and Grandma Lanz for the Christmas money! I spent it at Lego Land on a Lego Ninjago ninja costume. I saw a HUGE Lego serpent. I went up an escalator and one more and saw a HUGE Lego robot that took two Lego people to drive close up. The Mall of America is so cool, I wish we could go again tomorrow.

    Ninja!

[Mom here, barging in on William's blog just to clarify that we went to the MOA to celebrate Eliana and Katie's birthdays. Katie turns 3 next week. The girls each got to build a bear. Eliana, of course, chose Hello Kitty. We had dinner at Rainforest Cafe and then walked around Nickelodeon Universe. By that time the girls, neither of whom had taken naps, were exhausted. I think we all agree that we should go again, but maybe not tomorrow.]

  • How to turn into a ball

Submitted by William on Thu, 12/23/2010 - 8:04pm

I can turn into a ball. Here's how to do it:

Tip: Only if you have a shirt or anything with a zipper that goes all the way down.

    Step 1

Step 1: Hold on to your shirt or anything with a zipper. Raise it up.

    Step 2

Step 2: Put it over your face.

    Step 3

Step 3: Crouch down and put your head on your knees.

When you're done, you can pop up!

The end. Those are true directions.

  • Snow Day

Submitted by William on Sun, 11/21/2010 - 8:01pm

We penguin slid... wait! Let's start from the beginning. We went outside to play and I slipped and fell in the driveway. The driveway was icy! Then we started to mostly play on the driveway. We sledded on the driveway. We did tricks on the driveway. We did bobsledding on the driveway. Isn't bobsledding fun if you ever tried it on your driveway today? It'll be fun if you didn't try it today. We did tricks with the snow and ice on the driveway. Like throwing them at the driveway and making fireworks or skidding them on the driveway. The end. That's a true story.

  • When My Cousins Came Over

Submitted by William on Sat, 11/13/2010 - 4:06pm

Let's go back to Thursday when my cousins Tiernan, Caedmon, Brayan and Ariella came over. Tiernan is 5 years old, Caedmon is 4 years old, Brayan is 3 years old, and Ariella is 1 1/2 years old. Their mom is my dad's sister Dawn. I did hand stands for Tiernan. Eliana did a somersault, I think. We played Spies and we played Get the Hat.

How to plays Spies: We try to take stuff from the parents and we hide with the stuff. And that's how to play Spies.

    The spy crew

How to play Get the Hat: First I take somebody's hat. And then I run away with it and have the person that the hat belongs to try to get the hat. And that's how to play Get the Hat.

The End. That's a true story. Mom helped me write this story. She helps me write all my blogs.

  • I love pumpkins (especially on Halloween)

Submitted by William on Sat, 10/30/2010 - 8:00pm
Let's go right to the start. We found the pumpkins at the Farmer's Market Oct. 7, 2010. Then we brought the pumpkins home. Then we never carved them until today and now we named them Londonderry and Boo Boo.

    Londonderry
Why? Londonderry is a big pumpkin and because it is thick like the Londonderry wall in Ireland. Now, Boo Boo. Boo Boo because the drawing that Eliana drew on it, like you see in the picture, is actually boo boos.

    Boo Boo

The End. That's a true story.

Say "ch... Oh, no! There's a baby by the pumpkin!"
  • Meeting Roger, Sluggy, Dirt Driver, and don't forget Wormy

Submitted by William on Fri, 09/17/2010 - 7:35pm

I always wanted a pet worm to keep until it dies and I finally got one. Here is the story of when I met my new pets Roger, Sluggy, Dirt Driver and Wormy.

One time I was walking to the mail and when I got to the mail I met Roger. And Roger is a strong name. So Roger is strong enough to lift a big rock and he is strong enough to push a bigger rock. Roger is only a black beetle but he is strong enough to push and lift rocks on his back!

    Sluggy and Dirt Driver

Now we are on to Sluggy. My mom actually found Sluggy and then she put him in the sandbox cover. That's where I met Sluggy. I named him Sluggy because he's a slug. Sluggy is probably going to stay in a shell we put in his tank.

Now on to Dirt Driver. Dirt Driver is a slug, like Sluggy. I met Dirt Driver in the same place as Sluggy. Mom found them in the basil leaves. Why I named him Dirt Driver is because he is fast on dirt. I always see him either being still or going 7 mph on the dirt.

Now on to Wormy. Wormy is just a worm. I found Wormy in the compost bucket where Dad got dirt to put in the tank. And that's where I found Wormy. Worms can help farms. So if we have a farm, we will bring Wormy and let him out. And when he pops back up we will take him and put him back in the tank.

The End. That's a true story.
